Ghost Signal is a VR action roguelite set in the Stellaris Universe where you captain your ship to investigate a time anomaly you are experiencing. Engage in dynamic space battles, encounter enormous space creatures, meet enigmatic aliens and investigate ruins of long-lost civilizations as you make your way to the source of the mysterious ghost signal!

Project Highlights

  • Over the course of the project, I took ownership of some of the key areas of the game’s design as outlined by my responsibilities on the project.
  • Worked closely with other departments to break down the designs in actionable tasks, in-line, while navigating practical considerations that crop up and must be addressed during implementation.
  • Used a mix of standard and custom tools to design, prototype and test gameplay mechanics, while also identifying new opportunities for improvements.
  • One of the most exciting moments for me on the project was the opportunity to (successfully) pitch the story idea of the game to the Head of lore and narrative of the Stellaris universe at Paradox Interactive.
